Our Process
Collect
"There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up." In the beginning of our process, we reach out to everyone and their dogs to raise awareness for Truckload for Charity, and ask for any spare money and a lending hand in our efforts.
Purchase
Through everyone's generosity, we are able hit the grocery store floors and fill our shopping carts to the brim with the end goal in mind of providing more meals for more people.
Store
After several weeks of shopping, you can find our backyard looking like a big box grocery chain. We store all of our truckloads of food, water, and other essentials until the big delivery day
Truckload
On delivery day, we team up and load as many truck beds as possible with the purchased food, water, and other essentials. The team of volunteers gather in an assembly line and truck after truck is loaded.
Deliver
Delivery day is where is all comes together; from the raising of awareness and collection of funds, to the shopping, storing, and loading of trucks. Delivery day is where the magic happens of fulfilling needs and restoring the dignity to those with food insecurity
